As a Substitute Teacher, your primary responsibility is to fill in for regular classroom teachers when they are absent. Your role is crucial in ensuring a continuous and effective learning environment for students during the teacher\'s absence.

Beginning And Lower School Teacher Substitute Pay

• 1 unit* (1-2hrs) = $55.00)
• 2 units (3-4hrs) = $109.00)
• 3 units (5-6hrs) = $164.00)
• Full day = not to exceed $218.00)

• 1 unit equals 1- 2 hours in Beginning and Lower School

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Elementary/Early Childhood Education required; MA preferred

Schedule

Substitutes are contacted to work on an as-needed basis throughout the school year (September-June) and subject their availability. A full day in the Beginning and Lower Schools is 8:00 am-3:30 pm.
