Job summary

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Substitute Teacher to join our early education centers on a part-time, onsite basis. You will support classrooms, supervise children, and help with activities across centers and age groups.

On-call shifts provide flexibility and exposure to different environments. Responsibilities include assisting with hands-on activities, maintaining open communication with families about milestones, and ensuring a safe, clean classroom

Qualifications

• Must pass state and company background checks.
• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Completed minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3.

Monday- Friday 7:30 am - 12:30 pm (hours vary by need)

Monday-Friday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm (hours vary by need)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide support in any classroom or age group where teaching coverage is needed across a center or in nearby locations

Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required state and company background checks and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
• 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
• Have a completed minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA, to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3
