Job description

This is an application to be considered for the Palos Heights School District 128 Substitute Teaching / Paraprofessional list.

Must obtain authorization letter and fingerprinting results from the Regional Office of Education/South Cook Intermediate Service Center (ISC-4) in Chicago Heights, IL. Onboarding cannot be processed without a background check.

Substitute teachers and paraprofessionals are needed at all four of District #128s schools: Indian Hill (Preschool-K), Chippewa (Gr. 1-3), Navajo (Gr. 4-5), & Independence Jr. High School (Gr. 6-8).

Must have an IEIN number with the Illinois State Board of Education, and registered in the South Cook region.

District #128 Substitute Rates of Pay: Teacher position $150/day, Paraprofessional position $100/day (rates subject to change as District needs change).
