CCPS has implemented an online substitute training course. The virtual training is offered by the App-Garden University. The course must be completed and is available online for $39.

Candidates selected to take the online substitute training course will be contacted via email with information on how to register for the course. Shortly after you have completed the training you will receive an email with information on how to schedule a processing appointment.

Please understand that completion of the course does not guarantee your ability to become a substitute. You must also pass a required background check. Background checks will be completed at your scheduled processing date and the cost is $50.

Degree (Bachelor's degree or higher) Teacher Substitute: $23 per hour

Non-degree Teacher Substitute: $16 per hour

Paraprofessional Substitute: $16 per hour
