THIS IS A SUBSTITUTE POSITION.

DISTRICT-WIDE (PREK-12)

DESCRIPTION:

As a substitute for instructional staff. Reports to the building principal.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to organize and prioritize daily schedule and duties.


• Manage the classroom in a positive manner and keep students engaged, on task, and collaborative;


• Perform any other duties as assigned by a Supervisor / Administration.

Minimum one year college completed for non-certified applicants

Must be fingerprinted per NYSED Procedures .

Per diem substitute teachers receive$130.00 per full day (*includes teaching assistants). Limitations apply for length of employment of uncertified teachers as per the Codes, Rules and Regulations for the State of NY Title 8 CRR-NY 8-5.4.
