Substitute Teacher - Jewish Preschools of Greater Seattle Area

There are over 10 Jewish preschools in the greater Seattle area. Our schools provide a nurturing environment where young children can explore and grow. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated substitute preschool teachers to join our sub pool. Job Description:
As a substitute preschool teacher, you will step into classrooms at our preschools and early childhood centers, providing care and education to young children. You will engage in interactive activities, and ensure a safe and positive learning environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are looking for flexible hours. This role may be either on-call, or regularly scheduled depending on individual school's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
  • Facilitate hands-on activities and play-based learning experiences
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
  • Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents
  • Support the emotional and social development of each child
  • Follow all school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of, or willing to learn, Jewish culture and values. People of all cultural backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to different classroom environments
  • Experience and background in early childhood education is a plus
  • Must pass a background check
  • Flexible location - Pick which neighborhoods you want to work in
  • Ability to go full-time in the future
  • Up to $20 per hour

Location: Various Jewish Schools in the greater Seattle area.

Job Type: Part-time/On-call
