Kelly Education partners with Leake County School District to recruit Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals. The role supports classroom continuity by following lesson plans and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are 21+, and have valid fingerprints. PERS retirees are encouraged to apply. Flexible, part-time scheduling with opportunities across multiple schools.

Responsabilités

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with lesson plans and school policies.
• Lead instruction, follow teacher's plans, and manage classroom activities.
• Instruct students on various topics and foster positive relationships.
• Assign tasks and homework to reinforce lessons.
• Motivate students and encourage classroom participation.
• Create a conducive learning environment and adapt to student needs.
• For long-term roles, develop lesson plans and create/grade assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies. This includes:
• Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans
• Instructing students on a variety of classroom topics/courses
• Building positive relationships
• Assigning reasonable tasks and homework
• Motivating students to learn and encouraging classroom participation
• Create a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students
• Adapt to the various learning styles of students
• For long-term assignments, it may be required to develop lesson plans, as well as create, administer, and grade tests and assignments
