Job summary

TMSA Public Charter Schools – Concord Campus in Concord, North Carolina invites applications for a Substitute Teacher. The role supports classroom coverage in the absence of the regular teacher and requires strong organization and communication to maintain continuity of instruction.

Qualified applicants will have at least two years of college (60 hours) or an Associate’s degree, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of all student, parent, and staff information.
  • Sign in and out daily in the main office.
  • Use the timesheet within Frontline for monthly payment.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment and an orderly classroom.
  • Follow the provided lesson plans.
  • Take accurate student attendance.
  • Perform other duties during non-teaching time as instructed by an administrator.
  • Leave a note with any necessary information for the teacher when he/she returns to the classroom.
  • Other duties, as assigned by supervisor/administrator.
