An established industry player is seeking a passionate Substitute Teacher to join their Children’s Center. This role involves assisting the Lead Teacher in creating a safe and engaging environment for children while their families attend court. Title: Substitute Teacher
Salary: $25.00 per hour
Status: Non-Exempt, Per-Diem
Reports to: Children’s Center Lead Teacher
Center Hours:Effective July 2025, Monday hours will increase to 9am-5pm
Function:
The Children’s Center Substitute Teacher assists the Lead Teacher at the Children’s Center at the Dutchess County Family Court in compliance with all NYS Office of Court Administration Children’s Center Program agreements and requirements. The Substitute Teacher provides a safe and creative curriculum for children while their families attend court business and offers consultation to families for resources within the community. The position enthusiastically supports, practices, and communicates the agency’s Mission and Statement of Values.
