Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Elementary education experience preferred.
• Valid Texas driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete pre-employment screening including criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review (MVR), and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Support and uphold the Catholic ministry and Diocesan mission.
• Model Gospel values and teachings of the Catholic church.
• Participate in religious ceremonies, training, and reflection activities.
• Foster Catholic identity, lead or participate in daily prayers, and integrate Christian values into daily interactions with students.
• Execute lesson plans and learning goals left by the regular teacher.
• Maintain an engaging, respectful classroom environment.
• Monitor students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other campus activities.
• Leave detailed notes for the regular teacher regarding class progress and incidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
