Job summary

Waconia Public Schools is seeking substitute teachers to deliver lesson plans and maintain classroom order. Substitutes can request specific schools, work days and hours. Work schedule is FLEXIBLE - MONDAY - FRIDAY between 7:30am - 3:30 pm.

Minnesota teaching license or Short Call Substitute license required; Short Call licenses can be obtained if you have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject – no formal teaching program required! Salary is $145 for a full day or $72.50 for a half day.

Qualifications

• Deliver lesson plans as provided by the absent teacher and manage the classroom.
• Applicants must hold a Minnesota teaching license or a Short Call Substitute license; Short Call can be obtained with a bachelor's degree.
• Flexible schedule with Monday–Friday availability between 7:30am and 3:30pm.
