Job summary

Leona Group Schools seeks qualified educators to join our campuses across Arizona as substitute teachers. You will manage student learning in the absence of the regular teacher and align with school directives.

Arizona Substitute or Teaching Certificate and IVP Level 1 clearance are required. Responsibilities include maintaining a positive classroom environment, implementing prepared lesson plans, and ensuring student health, welfare, and safety through professional supervision.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree is required.
• Candidate must hold a valid Arizona Substitute Certificate or Arizona Teaching Certificate.
• IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive learning environment and professional relationships with staff.
• Implements lesson plans to motivate students to learn and participate.
• Ensures adequate supervision to safeguard health, welfare, and safety of students.
