Bishop O’Dowd High School seeks a Substitute Teacher to cover classes when a regular instructor is absent, maintaining a positive learning environment. You may cover up to four class periods in a day and may be asked to substitute on short notice, including mornings.
The role requires following prepared lesson plans, collecting assignments, administering quizzes, and supporting students with clear instruction and classroom management. Background screening is required.
Salary: $40 per class period ($26.67 per hour), a maximum of $160 for a class day
In order to create an encouraging learning environment for students while their regular teacher is absent, the Substitute Teacher will need to effectively manage and instruct the class. You will be asked to cover a maximum of four class periods in a day and you may be called to substitute the morning of class.
