Description

St. Peter Catholic School is seeking additional guest (substitute) teachers on an as-needed, on-call basis for the 2025–2026 school year. We are a vibrant PreK–8 Catholic school in North St. Paul committed to academic excellence and joyful faith formation. Both short-call and call-ahead positions are needed to support our regular substitute list across a variety of grade levels (Preschool through 8th Grade) and subject areas including homeroom, specials, and support services.

Qualifications

Candidates must the following qualifications:

A valid Minnesota Teaching License

Or completion of the Archdiocesan Substitute Training Certificate (offered through the Catholic Schools Center of Excellence)

Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience

Experience using technology in an educational setting such as Google Classroom.

Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and follow teacher-provided plans with clarity and consistency

Willingness to uphold the Catholic identity and values of St. Peter Catholic School, including respectful classroom management and modeling Christian character
