Job Description

In order to be a substitute teacher in our district, we must have a completed job application, a current background check within the last 12 months and a substitute teaching certificate from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

• $100 per day for substitute teachers
• $130 per day for long-term substitutes with teaching certificates (begins the 11th consecutive day).
• $110 per day for long-term substitutes without teaching certificates (begins the 11th consecutive day).
