Job summary

Jackson School District is hiring substitute teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. We offer 4 days per week and daily substitutes as needed. Pay varies by certification: 130.00 per day for Substitute Certification, 150.00 per day with a BA/MA, and 170.00 per day for NJ Certs. Long-term (8 weeks) is 225 per day. All substitutes work seven hours per day.

Qualifications

• Replace teachers as needed across the district.
• Long-term coverage opportunities may arise for CE/CEAS and Standard certificate holders.
