Job summary

The Minot Public School District is seeking applicants for substitute teaching.

Salary: $150.00/ full day

A substitute employee is one hired with the understanding that their association with the school district will be on a substitute basis, as needed, because of the absence of an employee. A substitute may be called the day before they are needed or early in the morning on the day of the absence of the regular employee due to illness or other obligations.

In North Dakota, every substitute teacher must possess a current North Dakota Teaching Certificate. This certificate is issued by the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction. Information on obtaining a certificate can be found on the Education Standards and Practices Board's website at www.nd.gov/espb or by phone at 701-328-9641. You will need to submit fingerprint cards for a background check. To find a fingerprinting service, do an internet search for 'fingerprinting near me' for local results.
