Job summary

Pathfinder Academy, Mesa is seeking an adaptable classroom assistant to support lesson delivery across K-8 settings. You will follow established lesson plans, maintain a safe and respectful classroom, and assist with student engagement under the direction of a licensed teacher.

Ability to substitute across general and special education settings is expected. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and prior experience with children.

• Take attendance and report issues to appropriate staff.
• Supervise students during transitions, recess, lunch and dismissal as assigned.
• Leave detailed notes for the returning teacher summarizing the day's activities and any notable student behavior or issues.
• Protect confidentiality of students and staff in line with school policy and legal requirements.
• Follow all school policies, including safety procedures and code of conduct expectations.
