Job summary

St. Benedict at Auburndale Catholic High School is seeking enthusiastic substitute teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. You will support student learning by following lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom, and upholding school standards in a faith-filled setting.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience), strong communication and classroom management skills, and a willingness to collaborate with faculty and administration to ensure continuity in learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate degree or relevant experience considered.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty and administrators.
• Commitment to fostering a respectful, faith-centered learning environment.
• Successful completion of required background screening and Safe Environment/VIRTUS training prior to employment.

• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher.
• Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
• Supervise students and encourage respectful, responsible behavior.
• Take attendance and communicate concerns to school administration.
• Uphold school policies while modeling professionalism and integrity.
