- Non-Degreed: $100
- Degreed (Bachelor): $130
- Certified: $150
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and support to students in various subjects, including literacy education and math.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with special needs requirements.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure student safety at all times.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to promote student success and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
Expectations
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a preschool or special education setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and strategies for teaching students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classrooms and grade levels as needed.Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit.
Note: Experience or expertise in autism, tutoring, or special education is highly desirable.
