Davidson Charter Academy is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team. We are looking for dependable, flexible individuals who can step into a classroom and keep students safe, engaged, and on task during a teacher's absence.

Substitute Teachers follow the teacher's lesson plans, maintain classroom routines, and help ensure learning continues throughout the day. Responsibilities include taking attendance, guiding instruction, and supporting student safety and accommodations.

Qualifications

• Experience in the educational field is required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written instructions and adapt to different classrooms and grade levels.

Work Hours

• Full day: 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
• Morning half day: 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
• Afternoon half day: 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Compensation

• $125 per full day (8 hours)
