Job summary

New Horizon Academy Kansas, Inc. seeks Substitute Teachers to join our Kansas City network, serving multiple campuses in KS. You will provide consistent, nurturing instruction to young learners and support classroom staff in a fast-paced early education environment.

Candidates must meet Kansas state teacher qualification requirements, have reliable transportation, and be able to work full-time Monday–Friday between 6:30am and 6:00pm. Prior childcare experience preferred.

We are seeking Substitute Teachers to join the New Horizon Academy team in Kansas City, KS!

Our substitute network will support all of our Kansas City schools:

• 3650 W 135th St, Leawood, KS 66224
• 15251 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062
• 11920 Quivira Rd, Overland Park, KS 66213
• 21555 W 112th Terrace, Olathe, KS 66061

All applicantsMUST:

• Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm.

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work.
• Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
