Job summary

Eckerd Connects in Laredo, Texas is looking for a Substitute Instructor to deliver instruction in designated subjects within the Job Corps program. You will foster a positive classroom environment to maximize student motivation and ensure a high level of discipline to support learning.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Texas Substitute Teaching permit. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Texas Substitute Teaching permit required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Hourly Rate: $21.00-$24.00
