Job summary

Lakes International Language Academy is seeking dedicated substitute teachers for general education and special education. Flexible, part-time schedules with shifts 7:15 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.

Opportunities to work with students from Pre-K to 12th grade and shadow a licensed teacher. Training and ongoing support are provided; candidates must hold Minnesota teaching/licensing or substitute certification and may obtain a substitute license with any bachelor's

Qualifications

• Minnesota teaching license or substitute teaching certification is required.
• Substitute license obtainable with any bachelor's degree.
• English proficiency required; no second language required.

Responsibilities

• Teach students in Pre-K through Grade 12 as a substitute.
• Shadow a licensed teacher and follow lesson plans.
• Attend to classroom management and student learning during assignments.

• $185 per day for Long-Term Substitutes (for assignments longer than 1 week)
