Daily Pay Rate: $140 per day. Long-term substitutes who substitute for the same person for 10 or more consecutive school days are paid at a rate of $204.30 for each day worked.

Education: Substitute teachers must have at least 60 or more college credit hours or hold a current teaching certificate in order to substitute teach in Nebraska. Visit the Nebraska Dept. of Education Teacher Certification Office at 402-471-0739 or www.education.ne.gov/tcert to learn more about substitute teaching certificates. Contact Anne Crofford at 402-245-2825 for a signed letter from our superintendent if you are obtaining a Local Substitute certificate.
