Job summary

CVOEO's Head Start program seeks a part-time substitute teacher to provide on-call coverage in an early education classroom. You will support activities that promote school readiness and assist with health, nutrition, and mental health routines for young children.

You will collaborate with parents and staff to foster family engagement, bring reliable transportation, and maintain effective communication in a diverse community setting in Vermont.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Related teaching or childcare experience preferred.
• Commitment to social justice and serving families with limited resources.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
