Job summary

Olympia Community Unit School District #16 seeks a Substitute Support Staff-1 to supervise students during meals and breaks across Olympia locations. You will support PBIS expectations and communicate age-appropriate student guidelines, while engaging with staff to foster positive relationships.

Immedi ate start; background check including fingerprinting required. High School Diploma is required and applicant must be able to supervise large groups in unstructured settings.

Qualifications

• Must complete a thorough Background Check, including Fingerprinting.

• Organize and supervise students during breakfast, lunch or recess.
• Align student expectations to the Building's PBIS Universal expectations.
• Communicate student expectations to students in a developmentally appropriate manner.
• Appropriately interact with all students and staff in the school environment.
• Promotes a positive relationship with students and staff.
• Participates in training programs as assigned.
• Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality about students.
• Performs other duties as assigned or as appropriate.
