Job summary

The Chancellor Center, part of Council Rock School District, seeks a Substitute Staff Nurse to provide school-based nursing care across district sites in Newtown, PA. Must hold a PA Registered Nurse license and Healthcare Provider CPR, with a preference for 2 years of nursing experience.

Successful candidates will complete required clearances and a physician’s physical within 1 year of hire and participate in TB testing as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have PA Registered Nurse license.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
• Preferably at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• Clearances required (Act 34, Act 151, Federal Criminal History) and must be current.
• Physical examination within 1 year of hire and TB testing completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students across district sites.
• Maintain accurate health records and coordinate with school staff.

Candidates must have valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License and Healthcare Provider CPR. Preferably a minium of 2 years nursing experience.

Clearances will be required upon employmnet and will need to be less that 1 year old at time of hire.

• PA State Police for Criminal Records Check (Act 34)
• Department of Public Child Abuse History (Act 151)
• Federal Criminal History (Indentigo)

A Physicalform must be completed by a physician. (Physical must beless than 1 year old from date of hire.)

TB testing - A test must be completed with the results submitted upon being hired.
