Annandale Public School District 0876 is seeking a Substitute Special Education Paraprofessional to assist in meeting the diverse needs of students under the direction of the Principal. This role involves supporting students with disabilities in academic, behavioral, emotional, social, and physical goals outlined in IEP services.

The position offers flexible M-F daytime hours during the school year with typical hours from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

ISD 876 offers a comprehensive benefits package for employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week (130 hours per month average over a 9 month period). This position averages less than 30 hours per week and does not qualify for benefits.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Principal, the Special Education Paraprofessional is responsible for working with students with disabilities in meeting the academic, behavioral, emotional, social and physical needs as identified in the goals and supports of services of the IEP. Supports occur in either an individual or small group setting under the guidance of the special education or classroom teacher.
