Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid Washington State driver’s license.
• Must meet physical and mental standards to perform duties.
• Pre-employment and random Drug and Alcohol tests are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned school van in a safe and legal manner per district, state, county and federal regulations.
• Transport passengers to and from school or school activities and maintain discipline per district policies.
• Inspect the van daily and report any mechanical defects or safety hazards immediately.
• Maintain daily van logs and complete required forms and reports.
• Assist passengers in exiting via emergency exits during drills or emergencies.
• Keep the vehicle clean and perform maintenance as required by procedures.
• Obtain and maintain all licenses and certificates needed for duties.
