Manassas Park City Schools seeks a Substitute School Nurse (LPN) to provide health services to students and staff across the division. The nurse will administer medications, conduct screenings, and coordinate health communications with parents under State law and district policies.
The ideal candidate holds a completed nursing program from an accredited school, a valid LPN license, and prior healthcare experience.
The substitute school nurse (LPN) provides support division wide daily by providing a variety of health care services to students, staff and communication with parents of students.
Must have the ability to effectively communicate and interact with other staff and the public using the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle, or feel objects and controls. Physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office related equipment such as, but not limited to, a personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions will be required.
