Greenbrier School District is seeking a Substitute Custodial Staff Member to join our team. The role involves general cleaning and maintenance across school facilities, ensuring health and safety while following established cleaning schedules.

The position also includes operating school buses on designated routes as needed and maintaining equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school education or equivalent, provide a criminal background check, and hold an appropriate CDL.

• Criminal background check and child maltreatment required.
• Appropriate CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Function: General Cleaning Duties – daily in offices, classrooms, corridors and other areas; vacuum, dust, disinfect, and maintain floors.
• Operation of Cleaning Equipment – use and maintain custodial equipment; report repairs.
• Operation of Bus Route – drive school buses on designated routes when scheduled; follow safety and transportation policies.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality – follow safety rules and protect student/staff information.
• Adhere to schedules and assist others to meet timelines; work with minimal supervision.
