  • Gather and disseminate information on critical issues such as student substance abuse, suicide prevention, teen pregnancy, and homelessness.
  • Prepare and maintains student counseling records.
  • Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in performing other related duties as assigned.

Substitute School Counselor

A substitute school counselor is a professional who is responsible to provide comprehensive guidance services to each pupil for use in coping with developmental and academic demands; and to help maintain a supportive and productive learning environment for each student.
