Dublin City Schools is seeking a School Food Service Substitute Worker in Dublin, Georgia. Under supervision, you will assist in meal preparation, supervise students at mealtime, and help maintain an orderly cafeteria following district procedures.

The role requires good communication, organization, and the ability to work with students. Previous food service experience and Serve Safe certification are preferred. This is a full-time substitute position with a pay rate of about $8.50 per hour.

Formación

• High School diploma required.
• DMV license or access to own transportation.
• Experience in lunch or food service aide preferred, especially in schools.
• Serve Safe certification preferred.
• FLSA Status: Nonexempt.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in preparing and serving meals in the cafeteria during mealtime.
• Assists in making sure tables and surrounding areas are clean.
• Assists students with food purchases, distribution of food, waste disposal, and return of trays and utensils.
• May collect, count, and deposit food service program monies.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
