Job summary

The role involves interacting with students, staff, and parents, keeping the bus clean, and complying with state transportation policies. This is a hands-on driving role requiring focus and reliability.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to transport students safely and on schedule.
• Knowledge of relevant traffic laws and school policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of students during transport.
• Transport students to and from school and events safely and efficiently.
• Follow assigned bus routes and schedules.
• Maintain required records and information.
• Report mechanical problems to supervisor.
• Keep assigned vehicle neat and clean.
• Observe mandatory safety regulations for school buses.
• Discharge students only at authorized stops.
• Transport only authorized students.
• Prepare reports such as route maps and accident reports as required.
