Job summary

Responsibilities

Operates the school bus in accordance with all laws, rules and regulations of the State Board of Education and LaRue County Public Schools.
Adheres to schedule and routes provided by transportation services.
Reports promptly to the area coordinator when unable to drive, allowing time for assignment of another driver.
Maintains student management procedures and reports concerns to building principals.
Reports accidents/injuries to transportation offices and submits required reports.
Communicates effectively with parents, students, and district personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Area Coordinator.
