Job summary

Northwest Regional ESD is looking for a Substitute School Bus Driver to safely transport students in accordance with state laws. The ideal candidate will operate a school bus on assigned routes, ensure student safety during transit, and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.

This role requires obtaining a valid CDL license and an Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate. Experience in managing student behavior and adherence to traffic regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• Possessor be able to obtain a valid CDL license and Oregon School Bus Driver Certificate.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the operation of a school bus.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain student control.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus on an assigned route, observing all traffic laws.
• Load and offload students at specific stops.
• Report mechanical difficulties to the supervisor.
