Job summary

GLEAMNS HUMAN RESOURCES, INC. seeks a dedicated staff member to supervise preschool children and implement daily programs in a child care setting in Laurens, South Carolina.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with experience with preschoolers, and may accept early childhood courses in place of experience. Driver's license may be required for transport duties as needed.

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well being of the children at all times.
• Implement the daily program according to the lesson plans furnished by the regular teaching team.
• Assist assigned teacher in any way possible.
• Assist in serving the meals and sitting with the children while they eat at the tables in family style.
• Keep classrooms, storage rooms, and bathrooms clean, neat and orderly.
• Be familiar with and follow all procedural policies.
• Report to Supervisor any special needs or problems of individual children.
• Report to Supervisor any cases of suspected child abuse or neglect.
• Handle discipline promptly and in accordance with stated policy on discipline.
• Must be cooperative and discuss center matters at the center.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent plus experience working with preschool children in a child care center.
• Courses in early childhood may be accepted in lieu of experience.
• Valid South Carolina Driver’s License and/or Commercial Driver’s License with a good driving record is required.
