Job summary

Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain pristine guest rooms and public spaces in a fast-paced New York City environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms and rooms, restocking amenities, and assisting with supplies; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend and reach overhead, and communicate effectively with team and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scrub and scour surfaces and reach overhead.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, tubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, and floors.
• Strip beds and change linens up to 50 lbs.
• Dust furniture, ledges, and shelves.
• Vacuum rooms and empty trash.
• Restock amenities and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys and restock heavy carts.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report completion.

NoOverviewMaintain the hotel rooms and building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesClean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending, and stooping.Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.Strip beds and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.Push and pull vacuum throughout the entire room and empty trash.Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart.
