Job summary

Acelero Learning Wisconsin–Green Street is seeking an on-call Substitute Preschool Teacher to support classroom operations and help build a brighter future for children and families. You will work with teachers to ensure smooth classroom functioning and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; substitute certification is preferred or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree.

• Commitment and passion to work with children and families.
• Effective communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center.
• Support the social and emotional development of children using positive guidance approaches.
• Encourage family involvement and support relationships between children and their families.
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and center operations.

Your Role:

You will work collaboratively with the teachers to ensure the successful operation of a classroom, while helping to build a better future for the children, their families and our communities. Are you ready to join forces and make a difference?

What You’ll Do:

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center
• Support the social and emotional development of children and using “positive guidance” approaches to dealing with challenging behaviors
• Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families
• Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations
