Job summary

Acelero Learning in Wisconsin – Cudahy North Center is seeking a Substitute Preschool Teacher (On Call) to support classrooms and help children develop socially and emotionally. You’ll collaborate with teachers, use positive guidance, involve families, and follow health, safety and nutrition guidelines.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent; Substitute Certification preferred or an AA/BA degree; willingness to complete the Intro to Childcare Profession Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Substitute Certification preferred or Associate/Bachelor's degree is an asset.
• Willingness to complete Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center.
• Support the social and emotional development of children using positive guidance approaches.
• Encourage family involvement in Head Start and develop relationships with children and their families.
• Follow health, safety, nutrition, and center operations policies and procedures.
