Working as a Substitute Preschool Teacher at Acelero Learning will give you the opportunity to gain valuable experience and transferable skills towards a remarkable and rewarding career path. You will work collaboratively with the teacher to ensure the successful operation of a classroom, while helping to build a better future for the children, their families and our communities.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work effectively with other teacher(s) in the assigned classroom and center.
2. Support the social and emotional development of children and use “positive guidance” approaches to deal with challenging behaviors.
3. Encourage the involvement of the families of the children in a Head Start program and support the development of relationships between children and their families.
4. Follow all Acelero Learning policies and procedures related to health, safety, nutrition, and other aspects of center operations.

Job Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within the first year of employment.
3. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.

This is a part-time on-call position and the pay rate is $15.49 hourly.
