The Longmeadow Public School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Teachers, Paraprofessionals, and Secretaries for the 2026-2027 school year which begins on August 27, 2026.
Substitutes fill in when there are openings due to a staff member's absence.

Qualified applicants will be required to meet with an Administrator for an interview.
Upon being hired as a Substitute Teacher, applicants must complete payroll forms, a CORI application, and a fingerprinting application.
Please note that all offers of employment are conditional upon receipt of satisfactory CORI and fingerprint results, as determined by the employer.
The district utilizes Absence Management, an online substitute fulfillment software to meet all substitute needs.
Substitutes are able to manage their work schedule through Absence Management.
