Job summary

Attleboro Public Schools are seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to support students and teachers across all levels. Immediate starting date with daily per diem compensation.

You will reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics, computer instruction, and other skills, both individually and in small groups, while maintaining routines and providing a safe learning environment. Collaboration with staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Maintain routines and procedures of the classroom.
• Communicate with administration when needed.
• Be punctual, reliable, organized, and a good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist and guide students to reinforce reading, language arts, mathematics and other skills.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in classroom preparations and strategies for instructional materials.
• Support with classroom behavioral management to maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Supervise non-instructional areas (lunch, bus, playground, study hall).
• Assist students with special needs to maximize inclusion and participation.
