Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Illinois ELS (Paraprofessional) license or PEL.
• Physically able to assist students throughout the building.
• Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed.
• Experience with special needs children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Substitute for paraprofessionals as needed to cover daily absences.
• Assist students with special needs with academics and daily activities.
• Support students in following a strict schedule and diapering needs.
• Collaborate with certified staff to help meet IEP goals.
