Substitute paraprofessionals will reinforce classwork, guide activities under the supervision of a teacher, and prepare teaching materials. A strong substitute paraprofessional will have a patient and student‑centered approach enabling all students to benefit from learning experiences. Substitutes may differ in duties with each placement. Organizational and collaborative skills are critical.
