Job summary

Dallastown Area School District is seeking to fill Substitute Paraprofessional positions for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will support teachers and classrooms where needed, be dependable, able to multi-task, and enjoy working in a school district atmosphere. Candidates may choose substitute opportunities as they become available, but may receive calls on an as-needed basis.

Interviews are conducted intermittently throughout the school year. EO E.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred in classroom or school settings.
• Child-centered, warm, and receptive to children.
• Ability to carry out oral and written communications and instructions.
• Acceptable attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and classrooms wherever needed.
• Choose substitute opportunities as they become available; may receive on-call calls.
