Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain a respectful and positive tone to create a happy, engaging atmosphere for your students.
• Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment to ensure that your students are prepared to learn.
• Execute detailed lesson plans and use a multitude of academically rigorous and highly engaging instructional strategies to ensure that your students are engaged and receiving quality lessons during their instructional time.
• Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to ensure all students are learning, especially during teacher absences and vacancies.
• Use available resources and support from ATS during assignments.

Qualifications

• State teacher certification in B-2 is required.
• Prior teaching or youth volunteer experience is required.
• Experience with classroom management techniques is required.
• A strong commitment to keeping, arriving on time and reporting to your school’s assignments on time is required.
• Must have DOI Fingerprint Clearance.
