The Job:

SmartStart Education seeks amath substitute teacher to work with middle schoolstudents during four class periods per day. Students are from the8thgrade. The teacher will work with each class several times throughout the week at a middle school in Groton, CT 06340.

The teaching position is expected to begin November 23, 2026 and end on June 14, 2027. The schedule will be 7:35 AM through 2:45 PM Monday to Friday. Applicants are encouraged to schedule interviews as soon as possible to allow ample time to complete onboarding steps. Failure to do so may result in a position being unavailable.

Salary Range: $33.58 - $37.31 per hour.
