MAINTAINER – FIRST & SECOND SHIFT

Monday‑Friday / As Needed. Flexible schedule based on the needs of the school.

Candidates should have the flexibility to work day or afternoon shifts including weekends. All applicants must have a valid State of Connecticut driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience in building maintenance, cleaning, sidewalk snow removal and managing tasks in a school environment is required. General skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical and furniture assembly are a plus.

Candidates must have the ability to complete tasks through verbal and/or written instructions and must behave in a responsible, courteous manner when relating to students, staff and the public.

Ability to lift and carry objects of 25‑50 lbs., be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, have a high school diploma, general maintenance and/or cleaning experience preferably in an educational setting and can successfully pass a background check, physical, alcohol and drug screening. Fingerprints are required at time of hire.
